Once you enable the Object Offset in the Array options, use the text field
or eyedropper to pick an object by name. Choose the name for the
Empty, which will probably be "Empty."
If you add some animation data to the Empty, it can generate some
interesting abstract animations using the Array. You will learn more
about animation with Blender in chapter 7.
Tip: Remember that you can easily rename any object in your project
using the F2 key. Select the object and press the key to assign a new
name.
4.5 Boolean modifier
Another useful modifier for 3D modeling is the Boolean, which allows
you to create models based on interactions between objects. The
modifier creates new shapes based on:
